Who says you can’t get good local wine in Florida?

My mom and I have a lot of things in common, two of which are red wine and visiting St. Augustine. So, when I was looking for new and different things for the two of us to do on our latest trip up there back in January, I recalled a place I had wanted to visit the previous two times, but hadn’t had the chance to see: the San Sebastian Winery.

 

Lauriat’s Books

I remember back during my senior year of high school (1987-1988), I worked for Lauriat’s Books at the Rhode Island Mall (the mall will be another post sometime). It was a great job for a high school kid, especially considering that I had worked the previous few months at McDonald’s (such fun). Everyone used to tell me how lucky I was to have such an awesome job, and I agree, it really was great.

 

Promotion?

I’m still here, I promise!

I’m just trying to figure out the best way to promote this blog, since it looks as if most link exchange programs want JavaScript enabled, and that won’t work here. So any ideas would certainly be appreciated! I don’t necessarily need to make money off my blog so much as get people to actually read it.

I have been looking at web sites about malls, amusement parks etc. that I went to as a child, and what has happened to them now. Most of it is depressing…still, I think it would make for some interesting posts!

 

So Tired….

I just want to take a nap, but that will not be happening any time soon.

Now, to hunt down some new blogs to read. I really don’t read enough of them and tend to stick to news sites!
